I have been doing pilates and yoga with Emoke for nearly 2 years now and have never felt so strong in my body (I am in my fifties). If I miss a week of classes  I am frustrated as I really notice the difference in my flexibility. The online classes during lockdown have been brilliant. Emoke is wonderful at explaining the moves and every class is a proper workout and each class is different from the last.  I also love her short sessions on Instagram so even if I miss a class I can at least do those. I cannot recommend Emoke highly enough to men and women of all levels.

Emoke is an amazing and inspiring personal trainer. After looking for various personal trainers due to back surgery, Emoke was the only one to identify the most appropriate exercises for me in order to gain better strength and flexibility.  Her advice have been beneficial to me physically and also mentally. She is constantly encouraging me and always adapt our one to one session to my needs. It is always a pleasure to see her smiling when I achieve a goal even as little as it can be. I would highly recommend her classes and her one to one session. I've been working with Emoke with the aim to improve my fitness build up my stamina and push myself to get fit. I was always hesitant about using a PT and took my time to find one who I felt was going to listen to my problem areas and help me focus and stay motivated. I am so happy so far with how far I've come along. Emoke provided me with a diet plan, weekly-check ins, and routines which she drew for me. each session created was specialized for my body. My work-life balance was so hectic at the beginning of this year but she found ways for me to fit exercise in within this. Emoke is one of the finest trainers I have been to. She is very knowledgeable and understands the challenges we have. In fact, she specializes in treating injuries. What is refreshing is, in addition to understanding the difficulty due to injury she also understands the overall impact of age and inactivity etc. She therefore, pushes slowly but steadily. It is also kept very interesting by her variety of exercises. She expects you to be regular and practice at home, but that's only fair if you want to improve. I have spent a year with her and have seen a lot of benefit. Still to be over the line, but my injury which has been inhibiting is getting better slowly. Her plan is meticulous for the week and always wants to make progress. However, she is also flexible when there is a flare up of pain unexpectedly, she will change the exercises dynamically to suit the situation. Her experience and dedication to the profession shines through. I will gladly recommend her to all my friends. She is someone you need. Go for it. - Hamsa

Emoke changed the way I see myself physically and the relationship I have with my body  - today I have a lifestyle that I enjoy instead of the copping routine.

 

A bit of background around myself to put things in perspective: I was a moderate active person considering my job is in front of a computer. I do have inherited health problems with my back. My idea of lifestyle was eat whatever, never go to the gym as I was playing volleyball and hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter and was a frequent client of the physiotherapist, chemotherapist and massages. As you can guess pain was constant and I was just manage it. Basically the pain was running my life, limiting what and how I do.

 

A change was overdue and with age and a few kilograms I decided try getting a PT. This was how I have met Emoke. My initial goal was losing weight (every girl problem). Poor Emoke had to listen to my numbers tracking (I work with numbers professionally). Somehow through her patience, empathy and professionalism she not just changed my body and got me fit (never been so fit and not to mention all the compliments on my looks), but most importantly my pains have reduced (I need no medication, physio or massages). Also she made me accept and love myself.

 

I recommend her genuinely as I love my relationship with her and the impact she had on my relationship with myself. She knows her stuff, she will listen and create personal plans adapted not just to yourself (the goals and issues) but also to your personal circumstances (as we all know we cannot live and eat as this is all we do, we have responsibilities). - Gabriella, 37
